Today, Advocate General Nicholas Emiliou expressed his opinion before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) concerning the removal of Andrey Gyurov as Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BnB), confirming the legality of the BnB's decision to remove him.
For Bulgaria, this means only one thing - President Iliana Iotova, who did not heed warnings that Andrey Gyurov was not entitled to accept the post of interim Prime Minister, bears full responsibility for this illegal choice and its consequences.
The illegitimate Soros-dependent interim Prime Minister is also acting as coordinator of the election staff of the Petrohan Party affair and the newly formed ex-presidential party. Not only does he have no right to occupy such a responsible position at a decisive moment for the world and the country, but by doing so he is also continuing to trample roughshod over the law and the Constitution.
There can be no doubt about the independence of the European institutions which have proclaimed this violation of the law.
This is a resounding slap in the face to President Iotova and a grave institutional threat to democracy in Bulgaria.
