The Parliamentary Group of the MRF has once again submitted a request to the National Assembly to call Interior Minister Demerdzhiev, but together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Galab Donev and Regional Minister, Ivan Shishkov. The ministers have to answer to the claims of Demerdzhiev regarding the flights of Delyan Peevski, leader of the MRF and the connection between crash barrier companies and payments by them for these flights. “36 invoices for 36 flights with a value of 5 million”, as well the “magic formula” of Galab Donev. With this formula millions were paid to the crash barrier company. Minister Shishkov needs also to respond to members of parliament about whether there was pressure on the most recent director of “Highways” regarding the installation of crash barriers without and contract, and his subsequent resignation.
Last Friday, the leader of the MRF, Delyan Peevski, responded sharply to the claims of Minister Demerdzhiev and Prime Minister Rumen Radev, and sent a challenge to the Prime Minister – if he cannot prove “36 invoices for 36 flights”, he should either resign or accept the resignation of the Interior Minister. If he can prove his claims – the leader declared that he would submit his resignation as leader of the MRF!
